About Us

Trendsetters Youth Foundation has been present since August 2005 - providing assistance and leadership development opportunities to youth in Midrand and Tembisa through Education, Arts and Culture; soon going to be across the whole of South Africa. We offer youth an opportunity to create and mold their own unique experiences through our wide range of educational and artistic activities. We see the true power that our youth hold, and we have made it our mission to transform them into  tomorrow's leaders, innovators and soldiers ready to take on the world and make it.

The Organization was formed in August 2005 by Godfrey Maruma, who was still at school at the time studying at College. He fell in love with helping the Community and it's Youth discover their talents and exploiting them to make it in life. He started by introducing Arts and Culture (Visual Arts, Drama, Music and Poetry), but as time went by he introduced Soccer around 2008 and Educational Assistance in 2009. Now today we pride ourselves with those Activities and we attract a lot of Young people to our Organization. We have produced a lot of successful Youth since the Organization has started from Engineers, Lawyers, Artists (Whether drawing, acting, music, etc.), Social Workers, Public Speakers and Entrepreneurs to name a few.
