Representative of the Organization as well as a very amazing & strong woman: Mahlatse Molepo

Mahlatse Molepo is a 28 year old who lives in Ebony Park, Midrand. She was raised by a single mother called Selinah Molepo while being a mother of two beautiful kids, a sister , an aunt and a Community Development Worker. She works as a volunteer at SANCA where they help people in the community to know more about Classification , Consequences and Awareness of Drug Use & Abuse. She is a long time and important member of the Organization, having started attending 2013 after completing Matric and going through a tough period of being hopeless, not having any direction in life , being pregnant with her second child and her family having thrown a towel on her. All that changed when she was was invited by Sir. Godfrey Maruma (Founder and CEO) to come and make visits to the Centre; that's when things begin to open up and fell into place. She started getting involved in the meetings held about the Organization, the challenges that were faced and a whole lot of stuff that was taking place at the time and grew into her new environment and life.

She was one of the Secretary members alongside Palesa Moleketi, writing and typing minutes and agenda for the meetings. Then from there she was taught about NPOs and NGOs on how they are run, why they are Non-Profit, whereto go when you need funding, how to create employment for the community, etc. She loves being involved with the community a lot ,from children, parents, old age, churches and everything within the community. Her duty now is to attend meetings around the community from Social Development, Municipality, City of Joburg represent the Organization as well as sourcing for funds and sponsors so that the Organization's projects can run smoothly by having a payroll every month like running a company. She aims to introduce her own project under the Organization aimed at assisting Young women with mental health, values & dignity, as well as providing them with aid & equipment they need as women as she went through a lot and hence she doesn't want the same to happen to other young women, and if it has happened already provide counselling as well as assistance for them. Her vision for the Organization is to change the community by impacting issues for Youth such as unemployment, Alcohol & Drugs Abuse, Teenage Pregnancy, etc; while searching for talents, and helping them in their academics to excel exceptional well, so that they become great leaders for tomorrow.
