The Multi-talented boy from Kaalfontein: Nkateko Mashele

Nkateko Mashele also known by his stage name Young Nkatty, is a Song Writer, Visual Arts Artist and a Tutor at Trendsetters Youth Foundation. He started writing songs in 2013 and recorded his first song in 2016 called "Weapon in Need" featuring Symon (Siyabonga Thwala) but was not released due to some faults, as well as starting to drawing Graffiti (which is part of Visual Arts) in 2016. While he was doing Matric in 2020 he started saving money along with his school friends at the time Abram Mashaba, Teboho Sefoko and Sfiso Sthole to start their own recording studio and company called Sudden Faith Entertainment (SFE). Today he is recording music under SFE and running the company which is growing bigger and better day by day, while also being in charge of all the Visual Arts aspects of SFE. He says he wishes to see SFE as a very big and successful Recording and Entertainment Company in South Africa and Africa that will mostly recruit talented males and females from poor backgrounds in order to change their situations while also making it in life using what they are gifted with.

He learnt about Trendsetters Youth Foundation in January 2022 where he became interested with the work done at the Organization, then he fully joined and started tutoring in February 2022. He started as Grade 8's Mathematics Tutor and Grade 9's Natural Sciences Tutor, now he is Tutoring Grade 11's with Mathematics and Physical Sciences as well as Grade 12's with Mathematics, Geography and Physical Sciences. The students are really enjoying his teaching ways, patience, hard-work, dedication and the fact that he cares about them and always makes sure they understand topics he is teaching them so they can do very well at school. He quickly became a very important member to the Organization and is working very well with other people at the Organization to make sure it goes forward becomes very big and accommodate a lot of youth around the communities.
